OUR BAKER
For over 120 years the Roberts family have been baking top quality sliced bread at their Northwich bakery in the heart of Cheshire. Established in 1887 by Robert Roberts, the company quickly grew. The Roberts Bakery brand is synonymous with quality, they use only the finest ingredients to produce soft, tasty bread with a fine crumb structure, great colour and good keeping qualities. They bake over 3.5 million loaves of bread, bread rolls and teacakes each week.

OUR BUTCHER
Nigel Fredericks was established in 1890 in North West London. They have grown into one of the UK’s finest suppliers of meat, poultry and game and have been supplying us with quality meat for over 20 years. 95% of the Pork, Beef and Lamb they supply us is UK Red Tractor accredited, mainly sourced from Suffolk (Pork) and the West Country (Beef & Lamb). This not only supports UK Farmers, but also helps support a sustainable agricultural future.

OUR DAIRY
Yew Tree is a family run business that was established in 1904. Their existing farmer base covers the milk fields of Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria, collecting milk from approximately 130 dairy farms in this area. Many of the dairy farmers are second and third generation farmers and all milk is from farm assured sites.

OUR GROWER
Grower Rod Fox (Fantastic Mr Fox!) proves that small truly can mean a beautiful result. With a farming heritage that goes back to 1960, McHale Marketing has been supplying white, green, red and Savoy cabbages to us since 2011 from its base in Lincolnshire, and all its produce is grown within an eight to 10 mile radius. Their network of just five or six growers help supply Chartwells providing good service and a quality product, grown locally with minimal food miles.
